Marcel, an artist endowed with great communicative skills and remarkable versatility, with his charm
and charisma, stands in the centre of a square, searching for answers:
‘Am I the Master?’.
Cars, people, bicycles, animals and children set the rhythm of the street and fill it with life. This balance is
disrupted when an artist, switching on an amplifier,
creates his own stage and
everything takes shape.

Chinese pole acrobat, juggler, tightrope walker…
Marcel was born and raised in Colombia, where, at the age of thirteen, he began to pursue his
great passion – juggling – as a self-taught artist. He arrived in Italy at the age of
eighteen as a street performer, bringing with him a background in commedia dell’arte acquired at the Pequeño Teatro in Medellín. In 2008, he joined the ‘Cirko Vertigo’
school in Turin (Italy), where he
honed his circus skills, combining them with dance and theatre. He continued his studies with
choreographers such as Michela Pozzo, Silvia Gribaudi and Henry Lou.
In 2010, he obtained his diploma as a contemporary circus artist and,
from that point onwards, began collaborating with various circus,
theatre and street art groups.
